Welcome to Spirit Level

Spirit Level is a support group for transgender people in Liverpool. We meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month at the NHS Armistead Project, Liverpool (see map), where we have exclusive use of the facilities for the evening from 7.30pm onwards. We welcome anyone who has issues of gender identity, male or female, and at any part of the gender spectrum or anyone else affected by gender identity issues; friends, family, professionals etc. Membership is free.

We can provide support to individuals who are considering or in the process of transition, as well as their friends and family. Advice on medical treatment and dealing with the NHS, relationships, housing, transition in the workplace and sexuality.

For cross dressers and transvestites we provide a safe environment, help and support. Limited changing facilities are available. One of our members can offer makeovers when they are available. Please contact us for more information.

After the "official" part of the evening we normally move onto one of the local clubs or bars for a drink and chat.

We are very concerned that all transgender people who live or socialise in Liverpool or the greater Merseyside area remain safe. Should you have experienced any problems of abuse, violence, harrassment or transphobia please take a moment to look at our page regarding hate crime reporting
